The beginning of the novel takes place in Bordeaux and in the Gironde moor around 1905. this book is really captivating, we must not focus on the summary on the back of the book, at the beginning I was quite skeptical but when I devoured volume 1 I absolutely wanted to know the rest and since there are 17 tomes in the saga is that of happiness. The book is generally about James, an 11-year-old who lives with his sister Loren and his mother, who is obese; he also has a father-in-law who visits once or twice a week, in the story he is a real rubbish and we can confirm it [...] I will not tell everything because otherwise there would be no surprises at the time of reading. Joy, sadness, humor ... To put it simply, buy this book and you won't regret it, and I hope I helped you with your purchase.
