Birdie Memory Project

Every year in November, Alliance Française Palmerston North takes part in the French festival of digital culture called Novembre Numérique (“Digital November”).

This year, Alliance Française Palmerston North presents the Birdie Memory Project to showcase digital technology, alongside nature and biodiversity.

What is Birdie Memory ?

It is a simple and fun way to learn about birds and their songs, from the age of 4 years old.

It is also :

Paper that comes alive
Birdie Memory uses an innovative application which make it possible to see printed birds come to life and listen to their songs.

An educational game
A fun course allows you to memorise birdsongs in just a few minutes

An awareness tool
Parents and children will now listen more carefully when walking in nature or in town.

To discover and play with Birdie Memory, come along to Alliance Française French Community Library, Square Edge, First Floor from Friday 1 November to Saturday 30 November*.

It is free, it is fun! Kids and adults welcome!

*Normal opening hours apply!

If you wish, you can register your attendance here.
