Alliance Française Palmerston North is proud to introduce the 2022 Edition of the Francophone Film Festival in celebration of French
Language and Francophonie Week in New Zealand.
Les Malheurs de Sophie (Sophie's Misfortunes), a family-friendly comedy, will be screened on Saturday 19 March at 6 pm and Sunday
20 March at 4 pm at The Globe Theatre, 312 Main St, Palmerston North.
From her castle, young Sophie can't resist the temptation of the forbidden and what she loves most of all is to get up to no-good with her
cousin Paul. When her parents decide to go to America, Sophie is delighted. A year later, she's back in France.
Tickets for the this screening can be purchased from The Globe Theatre. General admission $15, AF members $10.
This film is rated PG due to violence.
