Alliance Française Palmerston North is proud to introduce the 2022 Edition of the Francophone Film Festival in celebration of French
Language and Francophonie Week in New Zealand.
The film Timbuktu will be screened on Saturday 12 March at 4 pm, Wednesday 16 March at 6 pm and Thursday 17
March at 8 pm at The Globe Theatre, 312 Main St, Palmerston North.
Kidane, a cattle herder, lives a quiet life along with his family, away from the atrocities of the Islamic fundamentalists. Soon, a tragic
incident leads to them being found by the fundamentalists.
Tickets for the this screening can be purchased from The Globe Theatre. General admission $15, AF members $10.
This film is rated M due to violence and content that may disturb.
