Workshops in Schools - Oceania Concert

The Alliances Françaises of Auckland, Palmerston North, Nelson and Christchurch, together with the Government of New Caledonia, the Delegation of New Caledonia to New Zealand, the Pacific Community, AircalinNew Caledonia Tourism and Maison Vauron Wine Merchants are proud to present New Caledonian singer Vanuella Watt, the ‘Pacific Diva’ who will be travelling to New Zealand from 14th to 24th November.

Vanuella will be in Palmerston North for a very special concert, introducing her famous album “Oceania: a Hymn for the Pacific” for the first time in New Zealand! The New Caledonian diva will also entertain us with a beautiful repertoire of her own original compositions, classic French chansons, Pacific songs and world-famous songs in several languages, encompassing many styles and genres.

Vanuella Watt will be holding workshops in schools and Alliances Françaises to teach the song to children, who will then sing with her on stage in the first part of the concert. This will be a great opportunity for them to learn about other Pacific communities, languages and cultures and to share in an entertaining and rewarding experience.

In Palmerston North, 4 workshops will be organised from the 14th to the 17th november:

- Thursday 15th Nov : Awapuni Primary School, from11 am to 1 pm
