Every year since 1982, French people gather in the streets of the country to enjoy free concerts and celebrate the arrival of summer. This year again we want to share this event, an important part of the French culture, with you.
Come and celebrate the Fête de la Musique / World Music Day with Alliance Française Palmerston North on Saturday 6 June from 2 pm to 10 pm at the Globe Theatre.
During the afternoon, you will enjoy a wide range of musical genres: from classical music to pop, rock, folk or jazz... FREE ENTRY for everyone! And in the evening, don't miss the performance of SAM MANZANZA & his Afro Beat Band at 7 pm.
Sam Manzanza, the legendary Congolese African musician is bringing his Afro Beat Band to Palmerston North to perform his hot, spicy and
powerful rhythms of Africa to make you feel love, peace and to dance no stop.
African music is for dancing, if you can walk, you can dance and you won't have to go to the gym next morning.
Promise a spectacular showcase of upbeat music and positive vibes, is always a hit with the audience.
