Location: Palmerston North, New Zealand
Duration: 2-3 months from June-July 2018 Number of
Hours: 40 hrs/week of which approximately 15 hours of FLE teaching

Skills required:
This internship may be suitable for a student in master 1 or 2 of FLE wishing to direct their professional career towards positions at the
foreign.
A B2 level in English is required since the trainee will be required to communicate in English outside of class.
The BAFA is a plus.
The agreement will be signed between the university and the Alliance Française; passport in process of validation.
Main missions:
1) Teaching: French as a foreign language course
2) Administrative: reception/reception/registration
3) Cultural: running a book club, playgroups, snacks, cinema club, evenings at the Alliance
4) Communication: newsletter /posters/marketing
Secondary missions:
Support for partner cultural events
Support for the media library
DELF/DALF exams
The Alliance Française de Palmerston North is a small alliance in full development. Our audience is made up of both children and
professionals. The FLE trainee teacher from the Alliance Française will have the opportunity to teach children, adolescents and
adults. Classes for children represent a booming offer, so it is essential that the trainee demonstrates a certain attraction and real
skills for teaching to this audience (the youngest children are 18 months old) in order to make the classes dynamic. and catchy.
